Funny you should ask! Plastic palm trees are a decoration of choice in Tibet (moreso, I think, than other places in China from what I've seen.) They come in a range of florescent colors no less, dotting the Himalayan plateau, or at least dotting the cities that dot the plateau...
ReplyDeleteSee http://siteonesolutions.com/tree_masts.php for a UK company supplying such antennas. The SA ones are made locally and were exported at one stage, but I'm not sure they were the first.
